Hi, I’m Brigid Godwin, and I created this course because I believe that birthing a baby is one of the most powerful, life-changing things a woman can do—and you deserve to feel prepared, strong, and deeply supported every step of the way.

This course wasn’t built in isolation. It’s been shaped and refined alongside doulas, midwives, coaches, therapists, and the honest, unfiltered feedback of hundreds of women who’ve walked this path before you. I wanted to create the absolute best prenatal preparation course because, let’s be real, you deserve nothing less.

I’ve been teaching yoga since 2000, focusing on pre- and postnatal yoga since 2002, and I’ve spent the past 24 years learning everything I possibly could to help women navigate this sacred time. I’ve trained with some of the most respected names in yoga and birth education—Francoise Barbira Freedman (Birthlight Foundation), Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, Janet Balaskas (Active Birth Centre), Jill Benjoya-Miller, and Michel Odent (the water birth pioneer). Their teachings have been woven into every aspect of this course.

Over the years, I also started teaching mindfulness, hypnobirth, and antenatal education, and it hit me: the best way to truly serve women is to bring it all together. Not just bits and pieces, but a complete, holistic approach that prepares your body, mind, and soul for this transformational experience.

Here’s the truth I hold close: the way we birth our babies matters. It shapes us as mothers, and it ripples into how we parent. And how we parent? That literally changes the world.

I am fiercely passionate about helping women have the most uplifting, empowering birth experience possible. Nothing fills me more than hearing from one of the mamas I’ve worked with—when she sends that text or email to say, “He’s here,” or, “She’s arrived.” Those moments remind me why I do this work.

Mama, this isn’t just a course. It’s a labor of love. It’s a promise to you: that you don’t have to do this alone, and that you can do this—on your terms, in your power, with your whole heart.

I've attended three 10-day Vipassana silent meditation retreats, the most recent being in Nov 2022 and have a daily meditation practice.

I have studied and practiced with some of the worlds leading Yoga teachers: Shri K Pattabhi Jois, Sharath Jois, Derek Ireland, Radha, Hamish Hendry, Shiva Rea, David Swenson, Cathy-Louise Broda, Tias Little, Danny Paradise, John Scott, Lino Miele, Richard Freeman, Matthew Sweeny, Nancy Gilgoff, Anthony Carlisli, David Keil, Antonia Boyle, Michael Gannon, Gary Carter and Liz Lark amongst others.  

Due to the mental health emergency of the lockdowns, from January 2021 I ran 3 months of daily Mindfulness classes online for my community.
